Before founding Visual Concepts, Chris Green competed on one of baseball’s most demanding stages. A Los Angeles native, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1979 and reached the major leagues in 1984—a journey defined by preparation, persistence, and the ability to adapt.

His path included a pivotal reinvention: transitioning from starting pitcher to relief pitcher within the Pirates organization. It is a compelling chapter in a career that would eventually extend beyond baseball and into entrepreneurship.

Today, Chris leads Visual Concepts, a Charlotte-based security and technology company with more than three decades of experience. Its work brings together video surveillance, alarms, access control, networking, home theater, and architectural sound—creating environments where protection, connectivity, and comfort work seamlessly together.
